No money for Obama from public financing or lobbyist ,will McCain get more lobbyist money for smear adds?

Obama preferred to use the money from donors and put to good use for a cleaner campaign and put their dollars to good use instead of having donors using/wasting, money for smear/swiftboat adds, that he isnt aware of like 527s of past candidates elections.

What are you babbling about? Your second sentence makes absolutely no sense. So, taking donor money is somehow “cleaner”? Hasn’t the liberal mantra been that we needed publicly funded election campaigns?
BTW, the Swiftboat veterans were right – how’s Frenchie’s lawsuit coming along?

While I have supported Obama,I find it disturbing that he has
reversed his position in order to accept private donations
while McCain continues to accept public financing. Private
donors will all be asking for favors and special treatment in
the future. Also, someone spending his way to the Presidency is contradictory for someone who says he wants
to bring a new approach to politics.

I think it is funny how things go around in cycles.
I am old enough to remember when all candidates used only donor money to run. But people felt that left them open to the influence of lobbiest, big donors, etc.
So a system of public financing for elections was invented to keep politics clean.
Only now it has been decided that the public money is the “dirty” stuff, and the “clean’ politician is the one who rejects that and goes back to the private donors.
It is just so ridiculous.
Face the facts. There is only ONE reason a politician would refuse money. He thinks he can get more elsewhere. If Obama takes public money, he is limited in which he can collect elsewhere. Right now it appears he will get more money if he goes “private”, so he rejects the public money.
Has nothing to do with run a “cleaner” campaign. It has to do with running a “richer” campaign – more money.
Oh—the 527s do NOT get public money. Whether a candidate takes or rejects public money has absolutely nothing to do with 527s, which are ads run by people BESIDES the candidates, with no input or approval from the candidates, and no money from the candidates.

Obama used his dirty tricks again . He said that he would accept public funds that would limit how much a candidate could spend . After McCain accepted the public funds , Obama went back of his promise .
Obama doesn’t want to be limited on how much he can spend . His friends have more money than they know what to do with.
Obama has many donors . They all wear a diaper on their heads , held on by a couple of fan belts .
Do you really believe that Demicraps do not use smear “adds” ?
